The club is situated in the middle of the town on level ground, opposite is the railway station and station car park.
A short walk down Station Road brings you to the sea front and town centre including bus stops
There are two miles of promenade and a pier. There are many Pubs and Restaurants and some face up the River Teign on what is known as the back beach - a lively and colourful area with fishing boats and a busy dock accommodating freighters up to about six thousand tons - the view up the river is spectacular particularly when the sun is setting.
The club is open every day - Lunchtimes when light lunches are served. Evening opening hours are generally from 19:30hrs until 23:00hrs extended on Saturdays and special occasions.
There are regular darts matches, Bingo once or twice a week and most Saturdays there is live entertainment. The club is currently trying to resurrect the game of Euchre!
Buffets can be arranged for special events/parties - please enquire via the Bar.
