A membership organisation for serving and ex-serving
RAF personnel with over 100,000 members and 600
branches worldwide
What do we do?
RAFA provides care and recuperative breaks through our
nursing and convalescent homes and help at home
through our ACCESS scheme. RAFA has three sheltered
and three supported housing schemes.
RAFA provides trained welfare workers to give practical
help to individuals and families in need.
RAFA provides free help and advice to those who have
suffered injury or accident due to their RAF service which
may lead to disability and a claim for a disability pension.
RAFA helps RAF leavers and retired personnel find a job
through free resettlement seminars and ongoing access
to Service job search facilities.
